1/2" / 30 IPS analog master to DSD 256 to analog console to lathe Nobody could have predicted the impact Randy Travis' proper debut would make on country music when it was released in 1986. Recorded by a virtually unknown singer-songwriter who had once been rejected by every major label, and bolstered by production and arrangements that spotlight Travis' impeccable vocals, Storms of Life spurred a stylistic sea change that would soon sweep Nashville and place the North Carolina native at the center of the neotraditionalist movement. More than three decades later, the LP's brilliance looms larger than ever.

As AllMusic reviewer Bruce Elder notes, the album is weighted about three to one in favor of Charles' own compositions, with the hits "Hallelujah I Love Her So" and the pounding, soaring "Ain't That Love," which opens the LP, its raison d'etre.

(available in 9.5″ 10.5″ and 12″) Reed 1H is the latest addition to Reed’s entry level tonearm series. And, for the first time, they introduce carbon fiber as the Reed 1H’s arm wand material. After thorough research Reed found a way to make the carbon fiber arm wand’s acoustic properties close to ones that normally are typical for the wood. By using soft wood to damp the carbon fiber tube, Reed’s new arm wand’s acoustic properties become considerably better than using carbon fiber alone, and can be compared to wooden arm wands.
