Miles Davis – Birth Of The Blue – Analogue Productions 180 Gram Vinyl Record
£55.00
IN STOCK NOW
Analogue Productions is proud to present Birth of the Blue in an exclusive first-of-its-kind stand-alone release that reflects our reputation for meticulous production, capturing authentic sound with clarity, depth and fidelity that exceeds the audiophile standard. Miles Davis’s Kind of Blue was the number-one jazz album in history. It totaled five songs. There are four more songs from that same historic group, recorded in the same time period and at the same studio. And here they are. These songs deserve to stand on their own with artwork to highlight the quality of the music and that matches the time period of the recording. This is a rare opportunity to have a smash follow-up to what many consider the greatest jazz record ever!Miles Davis – Kind Of Blue (Corrected Speed) Analogue Productions 180 Gram Black 2LP
£75.00
IN STOCK NOW
BLACK vinyl edition limited to 1,500 numbered copies! A minor audio complication with Kind of Blue has been addressed with our UHQR edition, and now with this 331/3 RPM double LP reissue. The motor on the studio’s 3-track master recorder was running slowly the day of the album’s first session. This speed issue affected the album’s first three tracks, “So What,” “Freddie Freeloader” and “Blue in Green,” making them a barely perceptible quarter-tone sharp. Before now, it was only addressed in 1995 for the Classic Records edition and by Columbia Records — or their latter-day parent, Sony Music — on a CD reissue in the late ’90s. This edition also contains on Side 4 “Flamenco Sketches (alternate take)” cut at 45 RPM.Miles Davis Dark Magus: Live At Carnegie Hall – 180g 33RPM Mofi Vinyl 2 LP

Mobile Fidelity’s Numbered-Edition 180g 33RPM 2LP Set Presents 1974 Performances with Absorbing Detail, Color, and Energy
1/4” / 15 IPS analog copy to DSD 256 to analog console to lathe
It’s safe to assume no one in the audience at Carnegie Hall on March 30, 1974 anticipated what Miles Davis would play at the concert documented on Dark Magus. Recorded near the tail end of his electric period, the double album remains the darkest, most ferocious statement of Davis’ career — a visionary effort that foresaw developments in jungle, noise-rock, funk, and drum ‘n’ bass.
Initially issued in Japan in 1977, Dark Magus waited two decades for U.S. release. Now, more than 50 years after Davis and his ensemble blew minds at the famous New York venue, it’s finally available on a definitive-sounding pressing..

Nirvana – MTV Unplugged In New York – Vinyl LP
£28.00
Vinyl LP pressing of this live release from the Grunge heroes. Recorded in November 1993, less than six months before singer Kurt Cobain killed himself, Nirvana's MTV Unplugged is a watershed document that presents a band at the peak of its powers.
Unlike any other unplugged affair, the diverse album is not a simple stripped-down regurgitation of greatest hits or a cash-it-in set of nostalgic favorites. Rather, the live effort is among the most emotionally naked spectacles ever released an album so starkly intense and profoundly personal, it's impossible not to get chills down the spine. The set list is as surprising as the stylistic makeover.
Save for renditions of 'All Apologies' and 'Come As You Are', the adventurous material includes brooding covers of the Meat Puppets' 'Lake of Fire', 'Plateau', and 'Oh Me' as well as harrowing versions of David Bowie's 'The Man Who Sold the World', and the Vaselines' 'Jesus Don't Want Me for a Sunbeam'.
180gm black vinyl.

Paul Weller – Fat Pop – Limited Edition 3 x Vinyl LP Box Set
£45.00
Paul Weller releases his 16th solo album since his self-titled debut in 1992, which comes in just under twelve months following June 2020’s magnificent, chart-topping On Sunset. It’s not hyperbole to state that this new album, titled Fat Pop (Volume 1), is among his most compelling collections. It’s an absolute scorcher.
During spring last year, after his tour dates were postponed, Paul Weller needed something else to focus on. With many ideas for new songs stored on his phone, Paul started to record them on his own with just vocals, piano and guitar which he’d send to his core band members (drummer Ben Gordelier, Steve Cradock on guitar and bassist Andy Crofts) to add their parts. Despite it being strange not being together, it kept the wheels rolling and sanity prevailing. The band reconvened at Weller’s Black Barn studio in Surrey when restrictions were lifted to finish the work with the shape of the album becoming clear to all.
