The highest quality construction throughout When using an MM or MC cartridge, the cold side of the phono cable serves only as a ground. In the case of optical cartridges however the cold side is used to supply power from the equalizer to the cartridge. Therefore, in such an application, the cold side of the cable is just as important as the signal carrying hot line. The TB-100 features carefully selected, quad-matched ECC82 (12AU7) tubes, optimized specifically for this model. Using in-house tools, performance variations during operation are minimized to within 1% (0.1dB), ensuring peak performance. Each channel is equipped with an inner tube for voltage amplification and an outer tube for output buffering, delivering a rich, transparent sound quality.
